Fearless and Unknown – Guards (aka Fau-G).

Recently, the Government of India banned 118 Chinese apps including the super-popular Pubg Mobile, which revolutionized the Indian gaming scene. This was a heavy blow to innumerable Indian gamers and streamers who had built their career out of this game.

Under such circumstances, the announcement of Fau-G, the first of its kind game developed in India caught quick attention and created a massive social media hype. However, heavy speculation that this would be an Indian replacement of the popular Pubg Mobile was turned down by the developers clarifying that Fau-G is not a battle royale game and is different in concept and gameplay.

nCORE Games, said to be India’s first mid-core studio, founded by Dayanidhi MG developed the Fau-G game, which is mentored and promoted by eminent entrepreneur and angel investor, Vishal Gondal.

He announced the game as a part of ‘Make in India’ or ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiative by the Government of India, in collaboration with Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar.

Vishal Gondal is also known for his past ventures and is the Founder & CEO of GOQii and was also the founder of Indiagames, which he later sold off.

Recently, talking about the game, Vishal Gondal and Akshay Kumar also stated that 20% of the net revenues from this game will go as donations to the Government of India funded initiative called ‘Bharat Ke Veer’ trust.

nCORE games, based in Bengaluru, are primarily focussed on mobile gaming development and are making their mark in this domain. They claimed that they will be churning out an estimated revenue of 20 crores from Fau-G in 10 years!

Amidst all the hype and speculation, a 1-minute teaser for Fau-G Game was released by nCORE games and shared on social media by Bollywood veteran Akshay Kumar on 25th October 2020.

The Indian gaming community and all gamers have been waiting eagerly for a first-look at the much-anticipated game. The one-minute teaser released on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra gives a very brief glimpse of what gamers can expect from the game.

If you too are eagerly waiting for FAU-G Game (Atmanirbhar Game of India), then the release date of FAU-G has been revealed by nCore Games. The developer company has officially announced this by tweeting on Twitter that they will launch this Fau-G game in November 2020.

The trailer sets the course of action based on the Galwan Valley conflict – which is said to be the backdrop for the first stage of the game. It will be a third-person-shooter multiplayer action game that will be based on various real-life scenarios and incidents encountered by the Indian Armed Forces in the past.

The game teaser, however, does not give out much about the gameplay, combat weapons, or how the actual in-game feel would be like. This has left the fan-base and gaming community chomping on any bit of information they can collect to know more.

The outro of the teaser flashes a ‘Coming Soon’ screen that concretes the fact that an official date of release is yet to be announced by the developers. However, reports show it is slated to release sometime in November.

There has been a massive build-up of expectations surrounding this game, and the developers stating how they want to compete with international titles and prove that India can produce equally good games had only raised the expectation bar higher.
